ส่วนการพัฒนาพื้นที่นิคมฯ YASEC ในเมียนมา ปัจจุบันอยู่ระหว่างเตรียมการเสนอต่อที่ประชุมวิสามัญผู้ถือหุ้นในวันที่ 11 ก.ย.อนุมัติการเพิ่มทุนจดทะเบียนรองรับการใช้พัฒนาโครงการดังกล่าวที่บริษัทได้รับอนุญาตให้ลงทุนพัฒนา YASEC ในระยะที่ 1 บนพื้นที่ทั้งหมด 2,000 เอเคอร์ หรือประมาณ 5,060 ไร่ ใช้เงินลงทุนประมาณ 162 ล้านดอลลาร์สหรัฐ หรือประมาณ 5.02 พันล้านบาท โดยได้ใบอนุญาตครบแล้ว รอช่วงจังหวะการพัฒนาโครงการและสถานการณ์โควิด-19 คลี่คลายก็จะเริ่มทำการตลาด ขณะเดียวกันก็อยู่ระหว่างการหาพันธมิตรเพื่อเข้าร่วมพัฒนาโครงการโรงไฟฟ้าในพื้นที่ดังกล่าวด้วย
