Ratch Group Public Company Limited (RATCH) announced that on October 26, 2020, Ratch-Lao Services Company Limited (RATCH’s wholly owned subsidiary in Lao PDR) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Sacksith Consulting Trading Sole Co., Ltd. and the Government of Lao PDR in order to conduct a land survey and a feasibility study of industrial timber planting of wattle trees and fast growing trees for the construction of a wood pellet factory in Ta Oy District, Sa Mouay District, Salavan Province, Lao PDR. 

ทั้งนี้ ทางฝ่ายผู้ซื้อจะเริ่มดำเนินการตรวจสอบสถานะของบริษัท (Due Diligence) ซึ่งการตรวจสอบสถานะดังกล่าวคาดว่าน่าจะแล้วเสร็จช่วงต้นเดือนเมษายน 2559 ซึ่งก่อนที่ธุรกรรมการซื้อขายจะเสร็จสิ้น KTP จะยังคงดำเนินธุรกิจและประกอบกิจการเป็นปกติเช่นเดิม ทั้งนี้ เมื่อธุรกรรมการซื้อขายเสร็จสิ้นลงหรือโดยเร็วที่สุดภายหลังจากนั้น กรรมการที่เสนอชื่อโดย KLL จะลาออกจากคณะกรรมการบริษัทของ KTP และจะถูกแทนที่โดยกรรมการที่เสนอชื่อโดย HKKW โดยหลังจากนั้น การดำเนินธุรกิจของ KTP จะเป็นไปตามแผนงานและยุทธศาสตร์ที่ถูกกำหนดขึ้นโดยคณะกรรมการชุดใหม่
