ก่อนหน้านี้เมื่อวันที่ 13 ต.ค.58 พล.อ.อ.มณฑล สัชฌุกร โฆษกศูนย์บัญชาการแก้ไขปัญหาการบินพลเรือน หรือ ศบปพ. เปิดเผยว่า กรมการบินพลเรือน หรือ บพ. ได้ชี้แจงมายังคณะกรรมการ ศบปพ. ที่มี พล.อ.อ.ตรีทศ สนแจ้ง ผู้บัญชาการทหารอากาศ เป็นประธานฯ ถึงกรณีข้อบกพร่องจำนวน 35 ข้อ ที่ทาง สำนักงานบริหารการบินแห่งชาติสหรัฐอเมริกา หรือ FAA เรียกร้องให้ประเทศไทยดำเนินการแก้ไขปรับปรุงว่า ขณะนี้ บพ.ได้ดำเนินการในเรื่องดังกล่าวเสร็จสิ้นแล้วตามขั้นตอน จากนี้รอเพียงแค่คณะ FAA ที่จะเดินทางเข้ามาตรวจอย่างเป็นทางการ ในวันที่ 26 ตุลาคม 2558
