ขณะที่อัตราผลตอบแทนพันธบัตรสหรัฐฯ (Bond yield) เป็นบวก และเงินดอลลาร์สหรัฐฯก็แข็งค่าขึ้น ทำให้ Emerging Market มีแรงขายเข้ามา ขณะที่ผลประกอบการของบริษัทจดทะเบียนที่ประกาศออกมาก็ยังไม่ได้ดีเท่าใดนัก แต่ตลาดฯยังมีปัจจัยวกจาก MSCI เพิ่มหุ้นไทยเข้าไปในการคำนวนดัชนี แต่ก็น่าจะมีผลในปลายเดือน ดังนั้น ตลาดฯจึงเป็นลักษณะของการปรับฐานชั่วคราว
