ทั้งนี้เมื่อเปรียบเทียบมูลค่าการถือครองหุ้นของนักลงทุนต่างประเทศในตลาดหุ้นไทยกับช่วงเดียวกันของปีก่อน พบว่า ณ สิ้นเดือนพ.ค.60 นักลงทุนต่างประเทศมีมูลค่าการถือครองหุ้นในตลาดหุ้นไทยรวม 4.61 ล้านล้านบาท เพิ่มขึ้น 593,224 ล้านบาท หรือเพิ่มขึ้น 14.76% จากสิ้นเดือนพ.ค.59 ขณะที่สัดส่วนมูลค่าการถือครองหุ้นของนักลงทุนต่างประเทศอยู่ที่ 31.05% ของมูลค่าหลักทรัพย์ตามราคาตลาด (Market Capitalization) เพิ่มขึ้นจาก 30.85% ณ สิ้นเดือนพ.ค.59
