Thanachart Capital Public Company Limited (TCAP) had made an announcement on December 16, 2019, that its Board of Directors had approved the resolution to enter the shares repurchase program through the Stock Exchange of Thailand for financial management not exceeding 6 billion baht and the repurchase shares not exceeding 97,045,970 shares or 8.33% of paid-up capital. The repurchase program will start on February 11, 2020 to August 10, 2020.

นายบัณฑิต กล่าวเพิ่มเติมว่า บริษัทอยู่ระหว่างการศึกษาเข้าซื้อกิจการ (M A) ในธุรกิจที่นอกเหนือจากธุรกิจอสังหาริมทรัพย์ และธุรกิจสังกะสี เพื่อให้บริษัทเป็นมีธุรกิจที่มีความหลากหลายมากขึ้น โดยจะมีความชัดเจนมากขึ้นหลังจากที่ได้รับเงินจากการขายสินทรัพย์เข้ากองทรัสต์เพื่อการลงทุนในอสังหาริมทรัพย์ หรือ REIT ซึ่งบริษัทมีแผนจะขายสินทรัพย์เข้า REIT ดังกล่าว โดยคาดว่าจะได้รับเงินกว่า 2 พันล้านบาท แต่ยังไม่สามารถกำหนดช่วงเวลาในการขายสินทรัพย์ดังกล่าวได้
