ด้านพล.อ.อ.ธเรศ ปุณศรี ประธานกรรมการกิจการกระจายเสียง กิจการโทรทัศน์ และกิจการโทรคมนาคมแห่งชาติ (ประธาน กสทช.) เปิดเผยว่า การประมูลคลื่นความถี่ย่าน 1800 MHz ในวันที่ 11-12 พ.ย. ที่ผ่านมานั้น เป็นตัวสะท้อนความร่วมแรงร่วมใจของทุกฝ่ายที่เกี่ยวข้อง ที่ทำให้งานนี้ออกมาอย่างสมบูรณ์ และโปร่งใสที่สุด ส่งผลให้ประชาชนและประเทศชาติได้รับประโยชน์อย่างเต็มที่ ซึ่งจากนี้สำนักงาน กสทช. พร้อมจะเดินไปด้วยกันอีกครั้งในการประมูลคลื่นความถี่ย่าน 900 MHz ที่จะเกิดขึ้นในวันที่ 15 ธ.ค. นี้
