ด้านนายอภิชาติ ชโยภาส กรรมการผู้จัดการ RP กล่าวว่า ภายหลังจากการเข้าจดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์เอ็มเอไอ จะช่วยผลักดันให้ RP มีศักยภาพในการดำเนินธุรกิจโดยเงินที่ได้จากเสนอขายหุ้น IPO ครั้งนี้ บริษัทจะนำไปซื้อเรือเฟอร์รี่เพิ่มอีก 1 ลำ จากปัจจุบันมีอยู่ 12 ลำ และชำระหนี้เงินกู้ระยะยาว เพื่อรองรับการขยายตัวของการท่องเที่ยวบนเกาะสมุย และเกาะพะงันที่มีแนวโน้มเพิ่มขึ้นอย่างต่อเนื่อง ส่วนที่เหลือจะนำไปใช้เป็นเงินทุนหมุนเวียนในการดำเนินธุรกิจต่อไป
