The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries and its allies (OPEC+) has started the year with a cut in oil output by an additional 500,000 barrels per day (bpd) while Saudi Arabia also extend its voluntary restriction of 400,000 barrels.

After provision and tax, net profit in 3Q19 was THB2,111 million which grew by 10.1% QoQ but decreased by 62.3% YoY. For the 9-month period, net profit was recorded at THB5,607 million, dropped by 43.4% when compared to the same period last year.

Another good news has come as OPEC+ agrees to expand oil production by 500,000 bpd, which means the group would move to output curbs by 7.2 million bpd early next year, starting in Jan 2021 onwards, compared with current cuts of 7.7 million bpd.
