บริษัท โรงพิมพ์ตะวันออก จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ EPCO เปิดเผยว่า ที่ประชุมคณะกรรมการบริษัทมีมติอนุมัติให้ บริษัท โซล่า พาวเวอร์ แมเนจเม้นท์ (ประเทศไทย) (SPM) ซึ่งถือหุ้น 100% โดย บริษัท อีสเทอร์น พาวเวอร์ กรุ๊ป (EP) ซึ่งเป็นบริษัทย่อยของ EPCO ที่ถือหุ้นในสัดส่วน 75% เข้าลงนามในสัญญาซื้อขายหุ้นของ  Phu Khanh Solar Power Joint Stock Company (PKS) และสัญญาพัฒนาโคงการโรงไฟฟ้าพลังงานแสงอาทิตย์ ที่ จ.ฟูเยี้ยน ประเทศเวียดนาม จำนวน 2 โครงการ ขนาดกำลังผลิตติดตั้ง 109.76 เมกะวัตต์

โดยทางฝ่ายประเมินว่าปัจจัยส่วนใหญ่ล้วนกระทบกับผลดำเนินงานของ EPG เป็นที่เรียบร้อยแล้ว สะท้อนได้จากช่วงไตรมาส 4/62 ที่ EPG ประกาศกำไรสุทธิเพียง 112 ลบ. หดตัว 51.7% จากช่วงเดียวกันเมื่อปีก่อน และ 50.3% จากไตรมาสก่อน ตามลำดับ ถึงแม้จะมีรายได้จากการขายรวมเติบโต 4.5% จากช่วงเดียวกันเมื่อปีก่อน ก็ตาม เช่นเดียวกับกำไรสุทธิในงวดปีบัญชี 2561/62 ที่ลดลง9.1% จากช่วงเดียวกันเมื่อปีก่อน แตะระดับ 904 ลบ. ถึงแม้ EPG จะมีรายได้จากการขายรวมเพิ่มขึ้น 10.1% จากช่วงเดียวกันเมื่อปีก่อน
