ขณะที่ในส่วนของมาตรฐานน้ำมันยูโร 5 ซึ่งเป็นการยกคุณภาพมาตรฐานน้ำมันให้สูงขึ้นนั้น จะเริ่มมีผลบังคับใช้ในวันที่ 1 ม.ค.67 ล่าสุดทางบริษัท บางจาก คอร์ปอเรชั่น จำกัด(มหาชน) หรือ BCP แจ้งว่าจะสามารถจำหน่ายน้ำมันดีเซลทุกชนิดเป็นมาตรฐานยูโร 5 ในสถานีบริการน้ำมันบางจาก พื้นที่กรุงเทพฯและปริมณฑลได้  ส่วน ปตท.แจ้งว่า น้ำมันดีเซล B10 จะเป็นมาตรฐานยูโร 5 ภายในเดือน ม.ค.63
