นายธีรวิทย์ บุษยโภคะ กรรมการผู้จัดการ บริษัท พลาสติค และหีบห่อไทย จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ TPAC เปิดเผยว่า บริษัทคาดรายได้ปีนี้น่าจะลดลงเมื่อเทียบกับปีก่อน จากปีก่อนทำได้ 1,686.20 ล้านบาท ขณะที่ 9 เดือนที่ผ่านมาอยู่ที่ 1,212 ล้านบาท เป็นผลมาจากราคาเม็ดพลาสติกที่ลดลง ส่งผลต่อราคาสินค้าที่ขายให้ลดลงตามไปด้วย โดยปรับตัวลดลงราว 10% แต่ปริมาณการขายยังคงเพิ่มสูงขึ้น และต้นทุนวัตถุดิบที่ลดลง ทำให้กำไรสุทธิสูงขึ้นมาที่ราว 100 ล้านบาท จากปีก่อน 93.39 ล้านบาท เนื่องจากราคาน้ำมันปรับตัวลดลง ประกอบกับยอดการผลิตสูงขึ้น โดยคาดอัตรากำไรขั้นต้นปีนี้น่าจะอยู่ที่ราว 10%
