โดยราคาหุ้น GLOW ปรับตัวลดลงได้ปรับตัวลดลงมาอย่างต่อเนื่อง ภายหลังจากก่อนหน้ามีการยื่นหนังสือต่อคณะกรรมการกำกับกิจการพลังงาน (กกพ.) เพื่อคัดค้านการที่กลุ่ม บมจ.โกลบอล เพาเวอร์ ซินเนอร์ยี่ (GPSC) กลุ่ม บมจ.ปตท.(PTT) จะเข้าซื้อกิจการ บมจ.โกลว์ พลังงาน (GLOW) เพราะอาจจะมีผลต่อการดำเนินการที่ขัดกับรัฐธรรมนูญตามมาตรา 75 ที่ห้ามภาครัฐทำธุรกิจแข่งกันเอกชน โดยนายกรณ์ ได้เดินทางไปยื่นข้อร้องเรียนดังกล่าวต่อผู้ตรวจการแผ่นดินในวันที่ 12 ก.ย.ที่ผ่านมา

จากรายงานข่าวระบุว่าประธานาธิบดีทรัมป์ได้ออกมากล่าวว่าหากการเจรจารอบนี้ไม่สำเร็จจะเก็บภาษีนำเข้าสินค้าจากจีนทั้งหมด ซึ่งมองว่าคำพูดของคุณทรัมป์ไม่ใช่คำขู่แต่เป็นการแสดงความมั่นใจว่าการเจรจารอบนี้จะสำเร็จมากกว่า เนื่องจากการเก็บภาษีนำเข้าสินค้าทั้งหมดของจีนเป็นมูลค่าที่สูงเกินไป และจะสร้างความเสียหายต่อบริษัทของสหรัฐในจีนอีกด้วย นอกจากนี้จะส่งผลให้เศรษฐกิจทั่วโลกชะงัก โดยเราจะเห็นว่าวันนี้ตลาดหุ้นส่วนใหญ่ไม่ได้ตื่นตระหนกกับคำพูดของคุณทรัมป์
