ตลาดหุ้นนิวยอร์กปิดร่วงเมื่อคืนนี้ หลังจากมีข่าวว่าธนาคารกลางจีนประกาศลดค่าเงินหยวน ซึ่งส่งผลให้ค่ากลางของเงินหยวนร่วงลง 1.9% เมื่อเทียบกับดอลลาร์ธนาคารกลางจีนระบุว่า ทางธนาคารได้ตัดสินใจปรับปรุงระบบการกำหนดอัตราค่ากลางสกุลเงิน เพื่อให้อัตราแลกเปลี่ยนสกุลเงินหยวนเมื่อเทียบกับดอลลาร์สหรัฐสามารถสะท้อนสถานการณ์ในตลาดได้ดียิ่งขึ้น
